Peter Russell Pearlman, 98, past away yesterday in his home in Pearlville. Peter was the oldest living descendent of the Widow Pearlman, who founded Pearlville in 1854. He is survived by his brother Harold, daughters Deborah and Joan, and son George, all living in Indiana. Peter was born on the Pearlman farm in 1910 and married Alice Carr in 1936. He managed the Pearlville Mill for many years and was a generous contributor to the community. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice, son Albert, daughter Nadine, and brothers William and David. Services are planned for Tuesday at the Community Church.
